Welcome to St Joseph’s Parish as we celebrate the feast of the Birthday of Christ. He came down to our broken world to bring us an experience of God’s love for each one of us.

The world into which Christ was born was a cold, unwelcoming place.  For many, in our time, the experience is very much the same.  The numerous charities that are particularly to the fore at this time of year do help, but we must not leave our work for charity just for Christmas week.  People are in need all the year round.  Sadly, in our time, the land of Jesus’ birth has, in recent years, become even more hostile to Christians.    It is for this reason that, this year, our crib collection will go towards the support of the Christians in the Holy Land.
