OPEN KITCHEN would like to thank the very kind person who gave an anonymous donation to them. They will be using some of the money to treat their guests to a Christmas film, with all the trimmings - pop corn, ice cream and chocolate, followed by a meal. We would also like to take this opportunity of thanking you all for all the support, donations and help which you have given us this year. May you all have a wonderful Christmas, followed by a healthy, happy and peaceful New Year (Sue Brett). Volunteers needed to help on Thursday evenings - just turn up. Your help will be much appreciated.
ST MARY’S PRIMARY SCHOOL: We are full in every year group with waiting lists. If you have a child, know of a family member or a neighbour with a child who has a birth date between 1st September 2007 and 31st August 2008 they need to apply now to the Borough and make sure that the school office has a completed supplementary information form. This will ensure that the child is placed in the correct category for admissions. Late applicants, including siblings, who do not apply are at significant risk of not getting a place.
CTIM CHRISTMAS DAY LUNCH: Volunteers needed to help on Christmas Day at WAMDSAD. Drivers to collect guests, people to greet, waiters etc. Please contact Nancy Rowe on 01628 631012 or Sue Brett on email.
