Bishop Cirspian has asked that all parishes develop Pastoral Councils.

The foundations of our PPC rest on the principles set out in Papal documents, particularly Christifideles Laici (Christ's Faithful People).

The PPC is a group of lay people who work together with the priest of the parish.  It is concerned with the people - the living bricks of the church - rather than bricks, mortar, roof or financial matters.

Underlying everything the PPC does is the Parish Mission Statement:

"Our endeavour is to encourage and enable every member to fulfil their unique Christian role within our Parish and within the wider community."

We aim to respond to the needs of the parish - and so our work is often dictated by the feedback we get from the various open meetings.
